OUR HYROX CLASSES

Our HYROX classes are for anyone. Whether you just want to get fit in a class based environment, want to take part in your first HYROX event or have done them before.

Every aspect of the class is programmed for you and led by one of our coaches. The classes are accessible and scalable so that anyone will be able to take part in them.

 

Each week sees us providing four different styles of HYROX class:

The aim of each of the different classes is to develop different areas of your fitness ready for a HYROX event and keep your training interesting. Read more about what a HYROX class look like here.

HOW LONG ARE HYROX CLASSES?

Each class is an hour long and includes a warm-up, workout and cool down all programmed for you and led by one of our coaches. Depending on the day their style or structure may be different, but can include You Go I Go (YGIG) Partner Workouts, Interval workouts, Circuit based workouts, AMRAPS (As Many Reps as Possible) workouts, EMOM (Every Minute On The Minute) Workouts and many more.

Do I need to be fit to take part in HYROX Classes?

Not at all. That’s what the classes are there to help you achieve. You just need to make the commitment to turn up and get involved. We’ll help you do the rest.  

Do I need to be training for a HYROX event to take part?

Absolutely not. These classes are great if you just want to get fit, have fun and keep healthy.  

ACCESSIBLE FOR ALL

HYROX has been developed to be accessible for almost everyone.

Along with running, the workout stations use movements which are functional and simple to perform. The movements expose you to pushing, pulling, jumping, squatting, hinging, locomotion (moving), rotation and carrying - all activities we do in everyday life. 

 

The events see a whole range of people take part both male and female, parents and grand-parents, seasoned fitness fanatics, those getting back into fitness and even professional sports people. It is for everyone and is a fantastic challenge for anyone to want to aspire to.

WHAT Is HYROX?

HYROX is an incredibly accessible fitness race which combines 8 functional workout stations with 8 1km runs.

The events take place in exhibition halls and the format is the same wherever in the world you might take part.

It is the fastest growing Fitness Race and now has events spread across 11 different countries and 30 cities around the world.

Race Format

The race consists of 8 1km runs and 8 workout stations. It can be completed as a Single (on your own), a Double (with a partner in either a mixed or same sex pair) or even as a relay in a team of 4. 

The race is conducted as follows:

80m Burpee Broad Jump

200m Farmers Carry

100m Sandbag Lunges

100 Wall balls
Finish!

The weights used for the Sled Push, Sled Pull, Farmers Carry, Sandbag Lunges and Wall Balls vary depending on gender and the level you are competing at.
